I think most people would agree that accountants are highly skilled individuals. Accountants are known for being experts at analyzing, critical thinking, and problem solving. There are a plethora of skills you will need to develop to have a successful career in accounting. In today’s post I am sharing five basic skills that you need to be successful as an accountant. This is most certainly not an exhaustive list, but I believe these skills to be essential. These skills are easily transferable to other roles and can be developed and strengthened over time.
